Decatur Parks & Recreation's annual Trunk or Treat is back!Join us for the first seasonal community event in our new recreation center for festive Halloween celebration featuring decorated trunks, candy, costumes, community organizations, vendors, and plenty of Halloween fun for the whole family.
♟️ Beat the Wizard Chess Challenge
Think you can outsmart our mysterious chess wizard? Challenge our costumed chess master to a game for a chance to win candy and other fun prizes!
🥫 Admission: Two canned food items per person.
All canned food donations will benefit the Committee on Church Cooperation (CCC), helping provide food assistance to families in our community. Every donation helps make a difference for local families while making this event even more meaningful.
Want to be part of the fun? We're inviting businesses, churches, civic groups, nonprofits, and community organizations to decorate a trunk and help create an unforgettable Halloween experience for local families. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To reserve a trunk or learn more about participating, contact event coordinator Diamones Spraggins at [email protected].
Costumes are encouraged, and we can't wait to celebrate Halloween with you!
