Since 2010, Decades (based in Chico, CA) has been working (and rocking) around the clock to learn material spanning from the 1950's (Dion’s “Runaround Sue”) to today (Bruno Mars’s "Uptown Funk"). The band has played 1500+ shows all along the West Coast, earning its place as one of California's most in-demand bands. Throughout a single show, they'll swap between several instruments (including saxophone, harmonica, penny whistle, keyboards to name a few) and belt out four-part harmonies, showcasing each member's musical versatility, while continuing to put on a highly energetic live show.
Decades' impressive catalog, mixed with its young talents (ages 27-38), have led to numerous achievements and highlights. In 2024, they were voted Best Band in Chico, CA and have become the pre-game party band for the San Francisco 49ers. Some notable performances include playing Lake Tahoe’s Outdoor Arena for 4th of July, Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Napa Valley, the Hawaiian islands for 6 consecutive years, and several fundraisers for Raiders Hall-of-Famer, Fred Biletnikoff. They have also played dozens of corporate events, including Hyatt Hotels, Panasonic, Facebook, Hewlett-Packard, and Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. to name a few. They have had the privilege to open or play alongside Everclear, Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles, The Drifters, and up-and-coming country star, Tim Duggar. In 2024, they headlined The Reno River Festival (other single day headliners included The Atari’s & Canaan Smith), and were the after show party band for the Hidden Woods Music Festival (which included artists such as LIT & The Fray.) Eddie DeBartolo Jr. (former owner of the 49ers) flew the band out to play his famous 4th of July party in Kalispell, MT to play the after party, which followed artists such as Boyz II Men, Joey Fatone of N’Sync, and Dee Snider of Twisted Sister. Decades have recorded three albums, two of which were recorded with Grammy-nominated producer, Sylvia Massy (Prince, Johnny Cash, Tool). Their albums can be found on Spotify. According to Bob Littell, former entertainment director of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co, "This is the hardest working band in town."
