About this Event
Join us, DECA Community, for an in person training session as well as a group share out. We highly recommend this session for any members of your team that are trainers or educators in any capacity. We will be joined by Marquita Fagan of digital lift who will share a course from their curriculum focused on how approach adult education. Her presentation will touch on learner centered teaching approaches, the problem with expertise, the zone of proximal development, the utility of mistakes, and other learner centered topics.
Afterwards we will host a conversation between attendees and other experienced educators/trainers to share their expertise and learn from one another’s experiences. We hope you will have plenty of takeaways from this dialogue.
We will also set aside some time for some light networking and icebreakers. Light snacks and refreshments will also be provided.
