We summon you on Sunday, November 1st at 7 p.m. to the Great Hall, where a cortège of excommunicated choristers gathers to ask a question the living cannot answer: what happens when we die? Witches, friars, hermits, and heathens convene on hallowed grounds, reckoning with the fear and fascination of what lies beyond the veil.As our pilgrims explore immortal works from Verdi's otherworldly telling of Macbeth to Elgar's eerie choral apologue Death on the Hills, fear, peace, judgment, and relief are unearthed as Death and his shadowy train ride across the hill.
