About this Event
Reflecting on Death is a very important part of Buddhism because it shapes our perspective on what it means to be reborn, our connections to the deceased, and what living a meaningful life looks like for us.
This event will feature a guided meditation on Death, with storytellers reflecting on their own encounters with loss. There will also be poetry on the matter and a social hour where we can casually chat with others on the topic over a nice cup of tea.
Join us for a night of great insight!
Death Looms Large will take place at Movement on Montrose in the Albany Park neighborhood of Chicago.
The event is free and open to the public, with a $20 suggested donation graciously accepted if willing.
