Date: Saturday, October 31st at 5:00pm-6:30pm
On a night traditionally associated with the thinning of the veil between worlds, we invite you to gather for a special Halloween ceremony dedicated to honoring those who came before us, healing what has been carried through generations, and creating new possibilities for those who will come after us.
Dearly Departed is an immersive ancestral healing experience centered around remembrance, release, and renewal. Together, we will create sacred space for our ancestors and departed loved ones, acknowledging that our lineage carries not only stories of love, resilience, and wisdom, but also wounds, patterns, and experiences that may continue to echo across generations.
Our evening begins with Annie Chang, who will guide participants through a powerful combination of breathwork and Integrated Energy Therapy (IET). Through intentional breath, energetic healing, and inward exploration, Annie will create space to connect more deeply with your lineage while inviting the release of emotional patterns, inherited wounds, and energies that may no longer need to travel forward with you.
From there, Kyle Lam will guide you into an extended sound bath using crystal singing bowls, planetary gongs, and other therapeutic instruments. As the body settles into stillness, the vibrations of sound will support a period of integration, reflection, and energetic renewal. This portion of the ceremony is an opportunity to honor what has been released while planting the seeds for a new timeline within your family lineage—one rooted in greater peace, freedom, love, and possibility.
We will close our evening together with a ceremonial spirit money burning ritual, offering our intentions, gratitude, and abundance to those who have passed on. Participants are also encouraged to bring a small offering for a departed loved one or ancestor to place within our collective ancestral space. This may be a photograph, flowers, a handwritten letter, a meaningful object, or another offering that personally represents your connection to them.
This Halloween, we gather not in fear of those who have departed, but in reverence for them.
We remember their stories. We honor their lives. We release what no longer needs to be carried.
And through our own healing, we create a new path forward for the generations still to come.

LiveMetta Yoga does provide yoga mats, blankets and bolsters as a first come, first serve basis. Please ensure you bring your own yoga mats, blankets, pillows, and any additional comforts you might need.
If you wish to enhance your meditation experience, it is recommended to bring an eye cover or eye pillow.
We will have a resident tarot reader offering tarot readings for this event as well. Feel free to arrive early to receive a reading or receive one after the sound bath concludes.
