About this Event
What would you say to someone you may never meet, but who could really use a reminder that they’re not alone?
Join us for Dear Stranger, a FREE community letter-writing night centered on connection, creativity, and small acts of care.
We’ll have stationery, stickers, washi tape, collage materials, and writing prompts ready for you. Come write one note or stay awhile and make a few. Every letter created during the evening will be tucked into a package headed to someone in the trans and queer community who could use a little extra kindness.
No writing experience required. Your letter can be heartfelt, funny, encouraging, weird, simple, or just a few sentences reminding a stranger that somebody out there is rooting for them.
We’ll also have a community book swap, so feel free to bring a book you’re ready to pass along and take home something new. Bringing a book is completely optional.
This event is free to attend. Drinks will be available for purchase from the venue, and we’ll have free cookies while they last.
Come alone, bring a friend, make something with your hands, and leave a little kindness behind.
