Violinist Lara St. John was one of the Plowman judges in 2019. That same year, she began filming a deeply personal documentary which she premiered in February 2026. This year, Lara returns to Columbia as the filmmaker of “Dear Lara” to lead the discussion about silent sexual abuse in the classical music world. Note: This film may be difficult for some viewers to watch.
