Dear Garden is back and playing at Scalateatern – Källaren 20:30, the 11th of December. Dear Garden is a five-piece indie band from Stockholm making music somewhere between melancholy and playfulness. Drawing inspiration from artists like Alvvays, Fleetwood Mac, and Fleet Foxes, they blend sentimental arrangements with poetic lyrics and ambient guitars.
Dear Garden writes songs about longing and belonging, but rarely in a straight line. Beneath the sentiment there's room for curiosity, humor and the occasional bad idea that somehow turned into a good song.
