Something Strange this way comes…This Halloween, something unusual is happening in Downtown Cheyenne.
The trains are running. The shops are open. The living are well.
As for everyone else? …Nobody seems particularly concerned.
The story goes that long ago, a mysterious train pulled away from the Cheyenne Depot without a single passenger aboard. The passengers, as it turns out, had encountered a few… delays. Now every October, those lost souls wander the streets and shops of downtown, haunting the halls of the Historic train depot hoping to catch their train home. But they can’t board without a completed ticket.
That’s where you come in.
Become a Junior Conductor
Pick up your official railroad ticket at the Cheyenne Depot
Travel through downtown collecting candy, experiences and punches at participating stops
Return to the Depot with your completed ticket where you’ll meet the Deadhead Ghost Conductor and help send the lost passengers home.
Expect plenty of candy, strange encounters, immersive Halloween experiences, railroad history and a town full of characters who seem entirely unconcerned that some of their neighbors haven't been alive for a very long time.
Some living. Some not. Some…hard to explain.
