About this Event
Dead Wrong: A Case File Event is a free, in-person interactive mystery competition open to the general public.
Investigate the case
In the first case, “The Last Holiday,” a woman is mysteriously murdered while celebrating her 30th birthday in Washington, DC. Someone has already been convicted—but was justice truly served?
Work in teams through three competitive rounds, examining realistic case files, witness statements, photographs, newspaper clippings, and other evidence. Each round brings new information and a specific objective. Teams earn points for their findings, and the highest-scoring team wins.
