About this Event
As part of pride month this year, we are hosting a workshop where we will support you in making your own zines with materials provided. After this we will be screening the 2014 historical comedy-drama 'Pride'
The film, based on a true story, follows a group of lesbian and gay activists who raise money to help families affected by the British miners' strie in 1984. It is a wholesome heart-warming comedy suitable for ages 15 and over
All profits will go towards Positive East, a London based HIV charity providing support and prevention services including counselling, workshops and sexual health advice
The event will be held at The Wanstead Curtain attached to Methodist Church Hall in Hermon Hill, Wanstead.
Dead Good Cinema is founded by Compassionate Funerals.
