Halloween night. Three DJs, three wireless channels, and not one speaker in the room."Dead air" is the radio term for silence on the air. It's also what a barn full of people dancing sounds like from outside, when nobody's running a PA.
Saturday, October 31. Doors at 8, right as the trick-or-treating winds down. All ages, so bring the whole crew.
Everybody gets a pair of wireless headphones with three channels on them. Pick your station, switch whenever you want, or pull them off for a second and listen to a room full of people singing along to nothing.
THE LINEUP
Channel 1, EDM / Top 40: DJ Tyler James
Channel 2, Hip Hop & Latin: Luminous
Channel 3, Throwbacks: DJ Allen
Three DJs, three wireless channels, zero sound in the room. You pick your station and switch whenever you want.
COME IN COSTUME
Two rules from the venue, and they do get enforced at the door: no masks, and no weapons, including props. Go with face paint or makeup instead. It reads better under the headphone glow anyway, and it keeps the room friendly for the little ones.
