This February at The Junction in Plymouth, we mark two decades of one of the UK’s most enduring and uncompromising forces in extreme metal — DE PROFUNDIS. For twenty years, the band have stood at the forefront of British death metal, evolving from their early progressive roots into a sound defined by precision, intensity, and an unrelenting commitment to their craft.
Across multiple albums, international tours, and festival appearances, De Profundis have carved out a legacy built on technical ferocity and creative depth — merging aggression with melody, and sophistication with sheer force. Their return to Plymouth on Saturday 22nd February 2026 will celebrate that journey in full, revisiting defining moments from across their catalogue and marking the next chapter in their evolution.
Joining them for a long overdue return to Plymouth, SIDIOUS. SIDIOUS are one of the UK’s most formidable black metal acts, bringing their ritualistic fury and haunting grandeur to Plymouth as part of this short tour in support of their upcoming album. Their sound merges atmospheric precision with sheer feral intensity — a live experience as commanding as it is transcendent.
Completing the bill are MAATKARE, the UK/NL death metal collective whose monumental, ritualistic soundscapes traverse themes of decay, divinity, and transformation. Their performances are immersive and harrowing in equal measure — a fitting counterpart to a night defined by musical extremity and artistic depth.
