Join Vasantha Yogananthan (artist, editor and co-founder of Chose Commune) for a two-day workshop on editing and sequencing your photographic story. We will explore photobooks, engage with his work, and take a fresh look at your own projects.
Participants are encouraged to bring cheap prints of a project in progress to work towards creating a small book dummy: a tangible object to leaf through, take home, and continue evolving.
This workshop offers the opportunity to reconsider your sequence, experiment with new beginnings, and gain fresh perspectives from others.
Price :€250 until 31 October, then €300.
Lunch, water, coffee included both days.
Deadline: Sign up by 10 November.
Note: The workshop is held in English and limited to 12 participants. Sugar Paper annual membership (10€) is required and can be joined or renewed at the venue.

Sugar Paper is an independent cultural space dedicated to contemporary photography and photobooks, based in Modena, Italy.
The project was created as a place for slowing down, looking closely, and sharing photographic culture through books, images, and conversation.
At the heart of the space is a growing photobook library, conceived not only as a collection, but as a meeting point: a place where artists, students, photographers, publishers, and curious audiences can gather around books and use them as tools for discussion, and exchange.
