In this two-hour session, we'll use writing prompts and discussion to explore:
- Punctuation conventions (and how to break them!)
- Integrating effective action beats
- Ways to improve your use of dialogue as a tool to move your story forward

This workshop is led by DC Writers' Salon member, Laura Plevin. Laura is a writer and teacher, offering literacy support and creative writing workshops for kids. She is currently working on a fantasy novel inspired by Scottish mythology and also enjoys writing poetry and short stories.
