****DC Jazz Jam: Herding "Cats" Since 2009!*****Come join DC Jazz Jam as we celebrate John Coltrane's 100th birthday this month!
Continuing the celebration this Sunday (12/6/26) is saxophonist (and former CityPaper Best Performing Artist winner) Lionel Lyles! Lionel will be joined by a terrific house band of Darius Scott (keys), Herman Burney (bass), and Phil Thomas (drums).
[Don’t worry guitarists — We always have a guitar amp setup for those who want to sit in.]
So come sit in with the band and throw your support to a great local joint! 6:30-9:00pm @ Haydee’s (3102 Mount Pleasant Street NW). No cover!
AND mark your calendars for more Sunday jams in 2026!
