Join us for the SECOND ANNUAL Día de los Muertos / Day of the Dead 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, October 25th! 🌼💀🌼💀🌼Spend a beautiful morning with family, friends, and our community as we celebrate the lives and memories of our loved ones who have passed. Learn about the meaning behind Día de los Muertos and honor those who came before us by adding their photos to an altar created by Jeff Grimes.
We highly encourage theme attire!
Run of the Show:
8:00AM-8:45AM: "Bib Pickup" & face painting
8:45AM-9:00AM: Explanation of Dia de los Muertos and altar presentation by Jeff Grimes.
9:00AM: Start Fun Run/Walk
9:00AM-11:30AM: Food, drinks, music!
Please confirm your participation on our Facebook event so we can prepare a bib for you.
We also invite everyone to bring snacks or items to share after the run as we gather to celebrate life, community, and remembrance.
