Ten years ago I organized and hosted the 1st Annual Downtown Vegas Shop Night in Dawson Creek. Hundreds of locals came out to shop our local downtown core businesses. The cheer was contagious as the fun and laughter put everyone in a great mood. The idea behind the event was to encourage shoppers to support local businesses, businesses in turn gave 10-20% off at the time of purchase based on the luck of the card drawn. The grand prize of a Local Shopping Spree at the end went to the best poker hand. I hosted for three years and hoped that someone else would take it on, unfortunately no organization did. I feel events like these are important for our community and add so much value to thoes who live here. So I'm bringing it back this December 11th
Shopping event will start at 6pm and end at 830pm
