About this Event
Davidson Lands is launching a TREE STORE this fall. A tree store is a program where residents can request a free 7 gal native tree to plant around their home. We have purchased 100 native trees and it is first come, first serve. We have a variety of tree types available. We have White Oaks, Red Maples, American Hollys, Arborvitae, Eastern Redbuds, Serviceberry, and Southern Magnolias. If you would like to participate, please fill out this form. Please research the mature size and optimal planting location for the trees before you request one. There is only one tree per household.
Please remember the following:
- At this time, trees are only available to Davidson residents and all participants will need to show proof of residency at pick-up.
- Trees are limited to one per household.
- All participants will need to sign a Care Pledge at pick-up.
- All participants need to be able to pick-up the tree on Saturday, October 24th at Fisher Farm Park and stay for a short training on planting.
A portion of the funding for this program is thanks to a generous grant from the Town of Davidson.
