About this Event
Don't miss this opportunity to speak with the David Frost, Author of If Bones Could Speak! Learn how forty years of dental practice and his time time teaching Dental radiology at Tufts Dental School led him to conceive this story which takes place in New Hampshire and Boston...
About the Book:
Dr. Curtis Robinson is a New Hampshire general dentist with Special Forces and dental forensics experience who, along with his anthropologist son Hank and seal trainer daughter Jules, becomes entangled in a deadly web of rival Boston mob violence.
1930s Prohibition Boston: The Italian mob kills off the leaders of the Irish mob in a protracted gunfight. One of the bodies, that of Paddy O'Reilly, is dumped at a bootlegging site at a secluded New Hampshire lake.
Present day: While ice fishing Dr. Curtis Robinson is knocked flat by an enormous explosive blast from the shoreline. Working with the NH medical examiner and the Boston FBI, Robinson exposes evidence of current drug manufacturing, Prohibition-era bootlegging, and Paddy O’Reilly’s remains at the blast site. They discover the property is linked to current Boston Irish mob boss Dennis O’Reilly, Paddy’s descendant.
When O’Reilly learns about Robinson’s investigation and persistence, he orders Robinson’s daughter, Jules, abducted from her Boston apartment. Jules's kidnapping triggers Robinson’s PTSD and a long-suppressed childhood memory—nearly debilitating him. Fighting back his demons, Robinson is compelled to drop everything and do anything to ensure Jules’s return.
