Kick off the holidays at the Davenport Hotel’s annual Tree Lighting Celebration!Gather with family and friends for an evening full of holiday cheer as we light up the iconic Davenport Christmas Tree in the heart of the historic lobby.
Festivities begin at 4:00 PM on Friday, November 27th and conclude at 8:00 PM, with something for everyone to enjoy, including:
- Visits and photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the festive photo booth
- A special mailbox for letters to the North Pole, ready for children to drop off their holiday wishes
- Live performances by carolers and a local youth choir filling the lobby with classic holiday songs
- Davenport Signature Peanut Brittle demonstrations from our Confections Team
- The unveiling of the dazzling Davenport Christmas Tree during the official lighting ceremony at 6:00 PM
- Sweet holiday treats, including our famous peanut brittle and festive drinks to sip and savor
- Shopping at the Emporium for signature Davenport gifts, gift cards, and exclusive Black Friday specials
- A charitable raffle benefiting Give Kids The World
Afterward, continue the celebration with seasonal cocktails and festive bites at the Palm Court Grill, Peacock Room Lounge, and the cozy Lobby Bar. For the best experience, we recommend making reservations for the Palm Court Grill.
Make the Davenport Hotel the place to start your family traditions and don’t miss being part of the very first lighting of this cherished new holiday celebration.
