Dave is a Southeast London-based narrative and textile artist, known for his sideways look at things and people – famous and not so famous - and creates "textile illustrations," using thread, stitch, applique, marker pen, and wood to draw and sketch in both 2D and 3D. He has just finished his exhibition at the Hill Station Café in Lewisham and will be exhibiting as part of the Catford Arts Trail @catford_arts on Saturday, 10-Sunday 11 October. On Saturday, 21st November, he’s coming to give a talk to Bromley Embroiderers and will be bringing along many of his pieces together with items for sale – should be a different one and we’ll be delighted to welcome him!
