🇺🇸 Keeping Our Promise to America’s Veterans 🇺🇸At Katy DAV Chapter #247, our mission is clear: together, we can make a true difference in the lives of the men and women who served our country.
While many know us for our community support, the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) network nationwide provides a powerful suite of free, life-changing services to ensure veterans get the care, respect, and benefits they earned:
VA Benefits & Claims Assistance: Expert, free representation to help veterans navigate and file VA disability compensation, pensions, healthcare, and appeals.
Free Medical Transportation: Providing a reliable network of vehicles and volunteers to get ill and injured veterans safely to and from their VA medical appointments. Check with local chapters for availability.
Employment & Transition Support: Connecting veterans and their spouses with meaningful career opportunities, job fairs, and resources to successfully transition into civilian life.
Local Community & Advocacy: Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with veterans to ensure their voices are heard and providing a strong local support system right here in Katy.
Want to make a difference or transfer your membership? We are actively welcoming current DAV members looking to transfer, as well as new veterans who want to get involved and give back locally!
