Join us for a Double Date Speed Dating +Mixer on Wednesday, October 7 from 6-9pm at Coa CantinaThis event is for singles in their 30's & 40's. Please read details below regarding event structure. This event is intended for women seeking men and men seeking women.
Looking for something a little different than traditional speed dating? Welcome to Double Date Speed Dating—a fun, low-pressure twist on meeting new people!
Here's how it works:
When you arrive, you'll check in and we'll pair you with another attendee of the same gender. Together, you'll "double date" your way through the evening. This is the perfect event to come alone to, because we will pair you with someone!
- Women remain seated while men rotate to each table.
- Each round lasts 8–10 minutes, giving you plenty of time to have real conversations without the pressure of one-on-one dating.
- You'll meet new people alongside your assigned partner, making conversations feel more natural, relaxed, and fun.
- We'll complete 5–6 speed dating rounds over an hour.
*Note only 1 hour of the event is speed dating.
Agenda:
5:45: Check in begins
6-6:30pm: Get to know your double date partner
6:30-7:30ishpm: Speed dating rounds
7:30-9pm: Mixer
After the structured portion of the evening, we'll transition into an open mixer where you can continue conversations, grab a drink, and connect with more people.
Whether you're outgoing or a little shy, this format helps break the ice and creates an easy, comfortable environment to meet quality singles.
Additional Info
-We will have an ice breaker option available to help engage in conversations after speed dating.
-We ask you don't exchange personal information (i.e. phone number/email, etc) at the event. We will do the heavy lifting for you!
-It goes without saying, please be respectful at Date me Dsm events to all particpants. We understand not everyone you meet will be your soulmate!
-Please make sure to read the FAQ's for this event.
-Your ticket includes admission into the Date me Dsm event. There will be drinks available for purchase. (alcoholic/non-alcoholic).
-There will be photography and videos taken at this event. By purchasing a ticket you are agreeing to potentially be in some behind the scenes content.
-We will run a software that will help you match with those in attendance. More details will be sent via email prior to the event. We will briefly go over this as well at the beginning of the mixer.
FAQ:
What should I wear?
I suggest something comfortable. A fall outfit, dress, and a blouse. Men: polo, dress shorts/slacks. Weather pending but will most likely be also on the patio!
What time should I arrive?
Doors will open at 5:45pm for you to check in. Speed dating begins at 6:30pm. I would encourage you to arrive at 6pm or prior!
Will there be mocktails available?
Yes, we always have mocktails/ soda available at event.
My friend and I want to attend but be partnered together?
That is fine! A few days before the event, please email us to let us know.
