This is an IMPORTANT meeting of the Lowndes County Board of Commissioners as it focuses on a data center ordinance draft! If you are as concerned about the possibility of an AI hyperscale data center in our county as we are, this is the time to speak up!
NOTE:
- the Board is ONLY allowing one opportunity for citizens to publicly provide feedback on the data center ordinance draft.
- according to Chairman Slaughter, the Board plans to vote on the data center ordinance at its ONLY meeting in December, the 8th.
We need to PACK the room! Our commissioners must understand just how serious we are about having a strong data center ordinance in place: to protect our homes, our community, and our natural resources.
