We’ll be heading out on a lovely loop around Merrivale, taking in the ancient double stone rows, stone circles, a standing stone, Kings Tor, Fogging Quarry and North Hessary Tor.A beautiful bit of Dartmoor with plenty to explore along the way, including two stream crossings.

This is a proper moorland walk, so please come prepared for changeable Dartmoor weather and uneven ground.
Please bring:
Sturdy walking boots
Waterproof jacket and trousers
Warm layers
Plenty of water
Snacks/lunch
Any medication you need
Suitable clothing for the weather
And with the two stream crossings, waterproof boots are definitely recommended.
