DARREN GRIFFIS & THE JUKEJOINTis a road-hardened Australian blues-rock band built
on raw energy, gritty songwriting, and a fearless live show.
Formed by Darren Griffis in 2021 to showcase his original material, the band has earned a
reputation for high-octane performances across Australia—from Brisbane to Betoota and
beyond. Their sound has been described as “bourbon-soaked blues rock,” drawing
influence from classic rock heavyweights including ZZ Top, The Black Crowes, and The
Rolling Stones.
A favourite on the festival circuit, DARREN GRIFFIS & THE JUKEJOINT are known for
breaking down the barrier between stage and audience. Band members regularly venture
into the crowd mid-song, while audience members are invited onstage to live out their
rock-star moment.
As Darren Griffis continues to evolve as an artist in 2026, he remains committed to an
authentic, passionate approach to music-making. Whether fronting THE JUKEJOINT or
performing solo, his dedication to genuine live experiences stands out in an era often
defined by fleeting fame and short attention spans.
