About this Event
*About the book from Goodreads*
""Ballerina, ballerina… No need to scream. When the lights go out and this city gets hungry, remember I'm the one who eats in the dark."
A dark romance with paranormal elements, for readers drawn to the viral stories taking over BookTok.
Tar City chews people up and spits them out, sometimes… it swallows them whole. Some say the city is cursed, some say it's just corrupt, but Jax St. Clair knows the truth.
Bartender. Biker. The man everyone warns you about. The only one who can control the thing beneath the streets—until it decides to control him instead. Because the tar doesn't just run under Tar City, it runs through him too, and on full moons, it demands.
Sisk was never supposed to come back to him or to this city, but you don't escape Tar City once it's made a deal with you.
Now the tar is rising, Jax is losing control, and Sisk is the one thing he won't risk hurting.
"It's easy to criticize choices you never had to make, but I know exactly how far I'll go for her. And this city? It's counting on it."
