The National Society of the Children of the American Revolution, founded in 1895, is the oldest patriotic youth organization in our country. This year’s Maryland C.A.R. is supporting Paws of War, a 501(c)(3) organization that exists to alleviate the suffering of veterans, first responders, and their families, particularly those battling invisible wounds like PTSD, by providing them with loyal service dogs that become not just companions but also catalysts for healing.
