We are thrilled to invite you to the Danish Premodern Nationals 2026!It has been a few years since Denmark last hosted its own Nationals, but in 2026 it will happen again, and we hope to gather as many players as possible, both local and international, for an unforgettable throwdown.
We’re delighted to announce that the event will take place at The Lab Kitchen in Copenhagen, where Chef Willi will be serving delicious food throughout the day, starting with a communal breakfast during check-in. Those who attended the Abandon Hope tournament in 2025 will remember Willi’s fantastic culinary skills and the welcoming atmosphere of the venue. On top of that, there will be unique prizes for the top players as well as in our raffle contest, and a qualified judge will preside over the event.
While this is the Danish Nationals in name, the event is open to everyone — whether you’re a seasoned Premodern grinder, a returning player, or completely new to the format. Please help us make it a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all!

Check-in: from 8:30 AM
Tournament start: 10:00 AM
Format: 7 rounds of Swiss, cut to Top 8
Player cap: 128
Entry fee: 300 DKK (includes breakfast, Chef Willi’s lunch, cake, and leftovers for dinner)

For this event, gold-bordered cards are allowed, as are proxies for those who need them, though they must be printed in color and high quality. If you need to borrow a deck or are missing a few important cards for your special brew, we’ll have plenty available — don’t hesitate to reach out to us or the community for help!
