Bob Bossin founded Stringband, authored Davy the Punk, purveyed Bossin's Home Remedy for Nuclear War and has written such classic Canadian folk songs as 'The Maple Leaf Dog,' 'Tugboats,' 'Dief will Be the Chief Again,' and 'Show Us the Length. 'Only a handful of songwriters have created a body of work that constitutes a portrait of our country. Stan Rogers did that. So did Gordon Lightfoot. And so does Bob Bossin.' Stuart McLean
