Come one, come all to some more of the longest running poetry event in Southend (unless proven otherwise) Whether you are brand new and have never read before or you’ve just finished your set from Edinburgh Fringe, all are welcome. IT IS FREE, to read or to just watch.
How this works…
- Each person’s name is pulled out of a hat, please be ready for being called at any moment
- Your time is decided on the night by the amount of people who are reading. You don’t have to fill it all but please try not to over run.
- Please support Utopia by spending some cash over the counter
- If you want to sell your books/Zines/pamphlets please do.
- This is a safe space for art. Please don’t talk when people are reading, phones need to be silent.
Cannot wait to see your lovely faces. 😘
