Rae Studios is honored to be the 2026 programming partner of Mission Rock SF to provide continue FREE CLASSES to the Mission Rock neighborhood located at China Basin Park. Outdoor classes will feature rotating dance classes at 5pm every Thursday. Join us this summer with an updated scheduling featuring class styles like Jazz Funk, Shuffle, Salsa and K-Pop. All classes offered will be FREE and easy to follow. We encourage all participants to sign up in advance as spots are limited. We are overjoyed to be a part of this amazing addition to San Francisco’s newest neighborhood. Join us at the waterfront, let's move!
A huge thank you to our amazing instructors who led our spring launch! We really value the time and effort brought by our team and the impact they continue to have in our surrounding communities. We're excited to continue growing our community of dancers in Mission Rock and making dance more accessible to all.

Every 1st Thurs: Hip Hop (Beginner) w/ Inez

Every 3rd Thurs: Salsa (All Levels) w/ Sara
Every 4th Thurs: K-Pop (All Levels) w/ Sassi Fran
All Mission Rock classes are outdoors at Located near the Willie McCovey Statue.

Class Description:
Jazz Funk dance, a super-set of Jazz and influenced by the Hip Hop dance style. This style of dance is usually fast-paced pointed gestures and quick movements. In this class, you will learn the basic knowledge of jazz foundations while learning quick pace combos emphasizing on feminine and intricate movements.
Meet the instructor below:
Elizabeth is a lifelong dancer with over 25 years of experience. She began her training in competitive jazz, tap, and ballet, building a strong technical foundation that continues to shape her performative style. While she’s explored many genres over the years, she found her true love in jazz-funk, K-pop, and musical theater — styles that let her fully embrace character, storytelling, and expression.
Now based in San Francisco, Elizabeth brings a bright, energetic presence to everything she does. She is the creative director of the Baybaes, a casual K-pop cover group, and an avid weightlifter. She blends artistry and athleticism in her approach to dance, with a focus on helping people feel strong, confident, and at home in their bodies — wherever they are in their movement journey.
Her classes emphasize performance and are infused with influences from many styles and cultures. She’s trained in four languages across Detroit, New York, Toronto, Tokyo, and San Francisco. After three years as a dancer in the RAE community and participating in four performance workshops, Elizabeth is thrilled to join the RAE teaching team.
