About this Event
Dance for Dementia at Warwick Library
Dance for Dementia is a weekly movement session run by local dance company Motionhouse for people living with dementia. These welcoming sessions offer the joy of movement while encouraging self-expression, creativity, social interaction, and a sense of community and connection, with family members, partners, and carers invited to take part and support participation in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Dance for Dementia is delivered by Motionhouse in partnership with Warwickshire Libraries and generously supported by The King Henry VIII Endowed Trust.
These sessions are great for:
- Enjoying movement, creativity and self-expression in a supportive environment
- Building confidence and wellbeing through a fun and relaxed activity
- Meeting others and developing a sense of community and connection
- Taking part alongside family members, partners and carers in a welcoming atmosphere
