Biography
Born in Catania on 25 February 1986, Damiano Licciardello developed an early passion for music, with a particular affinity for the classical and operatic repertoire.
He began his piano studies at the Conservatory of Messina “Arcangelo Corelli” and later continued and completed his musical education at the Conservatory of Catania “Vincenzo Bellini”.
Although not a full-time professional musician, he continued to cultivate his dedication to the piano, performing in recitals across Italy and the United Kingdom.
His playing is characterised by expressive sensitivity and careful attention to musical detail, reflecting a genuine affinity with the classical tradition.
His repertoire spans both Classical and contemporary music: alongside composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Franz Schubert and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, he also performs works by modern composers, with a particular appreciation for Ludovico Einaudi.
His programmes often include well-known pieces such as “Mariage d’Amour”, “Ballade pour Adeline” and “River Flows in You”, creating a musical journey that bridges tradition and contemporary expression.
