A journey into the heart of Argentine dance, rhythm and tradition.
Experiencia Dale Folklore is an intensive weekend seminar designed to discover, understand and truly feel Argentine folkloric dance from its foundations.
Through a clear and playful approach, we will explore folklore as a “puzzle” — discovering the geometry, rhythm and structural figures that shape Argentina’s traditional dances.
By understanding these pieces, you won’t simply learn choreography. You’ll develop a deeper sense of movement, rhythm, communication and connection — tools that can also be transferred directly into other dances, especially Argentine Tango.

🧩 FRIDAY – CLASS I
THE FOLKLORE PUZZLE
🕖 19:15–20:45
Geometry & Basic Structure
Focus: Understanding the spatial and structural language of Argentine folklore.
We will break down some of its essential figures:
• Avance y retroceso
• Giros
• Vuelta entera
• Media vuelta
• Giro final
• Rombos
We will discover them through the rhythms and structures of Chacarera, Gato, Escondido and Bailecito.
🎯 The goal is to understand the code behind the dances, giving you the tools to build, recognize and interpret them — and to transfer these ideas into other dance forms.

🥁 SATURDAY – CLASS II
THE DIALOGUE OF RHYTHM
🕜 13:30–15:00
Zapateo & Zarandeo in Freedom
Focus: Rhythm, creativity and individual expression.
We will explore zapateo and zarandeo as tools for personal expression.
Moving beyond traditional gender roles, every dancer will have the opportunity to explore both:
👣 the rhythmic work of the feet
✨ the creative and aesthetic movement through space
The aim is to find your own dialogue with the music and discover new possibilities of expression within Argentine folklore.

Fernando “Chucky” Romero & Urszula Nowocin will dance at our CHE PRACTICA.
Come and enjoy their dancing and share an afternoon of Argentine culture, tango and folklore with us.

🤍 SUNDAY – CLASS III
LA ZAMBA
🕛 12:00–13:30
Structure, Handkerchief & Communication
Focus: Going deeper into the language and feeling of the Argentine Zamba.
We will work with the geometric figures that form the structure of the dance and explore the pañuelo (handkerchief) as a language of its own — a way of expressing intention, invitation and response.
We will explore:
• The structure of Zamba
• The language of the pañuelo
• Eye contact
• Distance
• Timing
• Connection
• Improvisation and interpretation
A class about dancing together, listening, proposing and responding — using structure as the foundation for freedom.
