Allah subhanahu wataala says:
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ مَوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً
Qur'an 30:21 — "He created for you spouses that you may find tranquility in them and placed between you affection and mercy."
Marriage is not perfect love, it is mercy in imperfection. Mawaddah is the love you choose, Rahmah is the mercy you give when love feels tired. Today, choose one small act of mercy — a soft word, a forgiven mistake, a sincere du'a for your spouse.
Ya Allah, fill our homes with mawaddah and rahmah, and let our marriages be a tranquility that brings us closer to You. Ameen.
