Come spend a fall morning with us helping put the flower fields to bed! We’ll be digging and lifting our dahlia clumps together, and along the way I’ll share everything I know about dahlias — how we grow them, when to dig them, dividing, winter storage, and getting them growing again next spring. There is no cost to participate. This is a volunteer farm work day and the dahlia education is completely free.
And if you fall in love with one while we’re digging, you’ll have the option to purchase freshly dug dahlia clumps for $6 each to take home, overwinter, divide, and plant in your own garden next year. No purchase necessary.
Bring gloves, sturdy shoes, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or wet. We’ll provide the tools + hot tea. 🤍
