Daddy’s Issues is a powerful stage play centered around women who enter Angels Haven, a counseling center where they are forced to confront the pain, trauma and secrets of their past.
Through their individual journeys, the women face issues surrounding father-daughter wounds, abandonment, childhood trauma, domestic violence, addiction, relationships, forgiveness and healing.
Some wounds were caused by the fathers who left.
Others by the fathers who stayed.
And some secrets have been buried for years.
But healing cannot begin until the truth is finally faced.
“You can’t heal what you refuse to confront.”
