In a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, you’ll have a chance to unwind while playing with clay and awaken your senses with its soft texture. Over a cup of herbal tea, we’ll offer feminist insights to fuel your creative spirit, and you’ll have the opportunity to share your ideas on the topics discussed. The whole experience is meant to be lighthearted and informal!
During the class, you’ll have time to create a clay vulva, which you can then decorate as you wish using the colored engobes available in the studio.
Your ceramic vulva will then be finished by our technician: finishing, firing, glazing, and a second firing. The pieces will be ready approximately one month after the class.
At Bâtiment 7, our mission is to provide an inclusive environment. The ceramics workshop strives to offer a welcoming and safe space for members of the 2ELGBTQI+ community as well as for all marginalized people. All these wonderful people are welcome in all our classes.
This workshop is intentionally mixed-gender and does not include cisgender men.
