Cécile McLorin Salvant moves with striking freedom between musical universes that are rarely brought together. The New York Times placed her alongside Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald. A three-time Grammy Award winner for Best Jazz Vocal Album, she was also awarded the prestigious MacArthur Fellowship in 2020, often referred to as the “genius grant.”
She reimagines her album "With Every Breath I Take" in new orchestral arrangements alongside the BNO.
