About this Event
Mr. and Mrs. Diggley have to move again, and moving can be hard. As they face decisions, changes in scenery, and a variety of feelings, they make discoveries. Natural beauty comes in many forms and comforting habits can be maintained in each place. Finally, they discover their most valuable treasure.
Cynthia Sink is a lifelong writer and former educator. As an adult, she dealt with the ups and downs of moving to multiple U.S. states. Each new home became a place of discovering nature, culture, and history. She is glad to now call the Pacific Northwest her home. Mrs. Diggley and Her Red Clay Pots is her first children’s book.
As an artist, Megan Velthuizen is inspired by the landscapes around her no matter where she lives. When she is not painting or illustrating, you can find her hiking in the PNW with her family or snuggled up on the couch with her cat and a good book.
