In best-of-3 play, one round or "match" lasts 50 minutes, and the round winner is the first player to win two games. Players should play at a reasonable pace, communicating clearly with each other about card effects, actions, and passing of turns.
When a winner of the first game in a best-of-3 match is determined, both players may choose to sideboard by swapping cards from their 7-card sideboard with cards in their main deck (Sideboarding). This process should be done at a reasonable pace and take no more than two minutes, at the end of which your deck must be presented to your Rival to cut. The player who lost Game 1 of the match will then choose who goes first in Game 2. If necessary, the player who lost Game 2 of the match will do the same for Game 3.
If players elapse the 50 minutes allotted for a best-of-3 match and 3 games have not concluded, the winner of the match is the person who has won the most games at the end of round-end procedures.
