About this Event
Miss G and Kerberus, aka Baby Rexx, are hosting an open Women’s KRUMP Session in partnership with Charing Cross Library and Westminster Community Hubs in Central London.
This monthly KRUMP lab is designed to provide an inclusive and supportive space for women and the LGBTQIA+ community to learn, explore, train, session, and battle in KRUMP.
We recognise that KRUMP has traditionally been a masculine space and style. While there are many incredible women and queer dancers actively shaping the scene, stepping into sessions can still feel intimidating for people who are new to the style — or even for those who’ve been around for a while. ❤️🔥
Whether it’s your first session or you’ve been dancing KRUMP for years, this is a safe and encouraging environment to lab, make mistakes, learn, connect, and have fun. 🥳
FLINTA* stands for Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-Binary, Trans, and Agender. The “*” acts as a placeholder for identities not explicitly included in the acronym. Anyone who identifies with the acronym or considers themselves part of the queer community is welcome. If you’re unsure whether this is the right space for you, feel free to get in touch and we’d be happy to chat.
CX stands for Charing Cross, where the session takes place, while also paying homage to the legendary CX sessions once held at Charing Cross station — sessions many krumpers still hold close to their hearts ☺️
