Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a free tour of Horsham (Hills) Cemetery, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides.

MEETING POINT is at the main entrance to Hills Cemetery. The entrance is located at the end of an unnamed road that runs south off the A281Guildford Road, Horsham. The road is located between 'Hillside' and 'Hills Farm Lane' What3words //feed.shout.signal.
Scattered across a peaceful burial ground just outside Horsham are the graves of airmen, sailors and soldiers from the First and Second World Wars. Many are marked by the distinctive headstones of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. This tour will explore the history and continuing role of the Commission, while also recounting the personal stories of some of those for whom Hills Cemetery is the final resting place.
The tour lasts approx. 60 mins and covers about 1200 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground.
There limited parking available. Theres no facilities or toilets on site. Please bring water if required.
Please come dressed for the weather and in suitable footwear.
Dogs are not allowed in the cemetery.
Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can, but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
