About this Event
Voluntary Sector Locality Network Events
Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire is hosting another round of Voluntary Sector Locality Network Events across North Lanarkshire.
These events are a great opportunity to connect with others working in the local community, hear the latest updates from across the voluntary sector, and find out what’s happening in your area.
The Locality Network Events (LNEs) bring together community organisations, volunteers, local services and partners to share information, make connections and work together on issues that matter locally.
They offer a friendly and practical space to:
- Meet and connect with other local organisations and community groups
- Share updates, ideas, events, training, funding opportunities and volunteer roles
- Showcase the work happening in your community
- Learn about local services and support available to organisations
- Build relationships with partners and funders
- Identify gaps, avoid duplication and explore opportunities to work together
- Share local experiences and community insight to help shape Locality Plans and priorities
- Support new and emerging groups to make connections, access information and learn from more established organisations
Whether you’re already well connected locally or are new to the area or sector, everyone is welcome. Come along, meet others, share what you’re working on and find out how you can get involved in what’s happening across your local community.
