We'll be piecing together poems from found words, then creating little paper-cut scenes to go alongside them. We'll also be having some autumnal snacks & tea!
We're taking loose inspiration from the changing seasons, folk art and reimagined fairytales. As always with KQC, there's no set way to do things and plenty of room to play, experiment and go wherever your idea takes you.

Creative Maidstone

Getting there by bus: Creative Maidstone is approx 5 min walk from Maidstone Bus Station.
Getting there by train: The venue is in between Maidstone East (approx. 9 minute walk from the station) and Maidstone West (approx. 12 minute walk).
✫ Accessibility ✫
Access needs aren't an inconvenience and we always try to choose our venues with accessibility in mind. Creative Maidstone is a step-free venue with:
• a set of double doors
• air conditioning throughout the venue
• a disabled toilet
The venue is situated at the bottom of Gabriel's Hill. If you're unable to walk down this steep hill, you can still access the venue via the lifts in The Mall shopping centre. Take the lift next to Franco's Café on Level 2, go down to Level 1, and exit via the Gabriel's Hill exit.
Sensory information:
There is fluorescent overhead lighting, and general high-street noise can be heard from the social space.
