Join Aspen-based artist Kelly Peters for a 90-minute mixed media workshop inspired by the landscapes, imagery and nostalgia of the American West.
Using vintage Western imagery, custom cutouts, acrylic paint, Mod Podge and collage materials, guests will cut, rip, paint and layer to build their own textural mixed media piece on canvas.
Kelly will guide the group through a loose Western landscape-inspired composition, exploring layering, texture, color and composition along the way. From there, guests are encouraged to experiment, wander off course and make the piece entirely their own. There’s no pressure to follow a template, and no two pieces will look the same.
No art experience is necessary, and all materials are included. Join us on the roof of the Mollie (weather permitting)
