Girl dads, this one is for us.
Curls & Connection is a hands-on hair care and styling experience created to help dads feel more confident caring for and styling their daughters’ hair.
Hosted by Alfred Duran x Just Dads at Crystal Dione Salon & Spa, the experience will kick off with a brief conversation about the realities of being a girl dad and learning how to do our daughters’ hair. From there, a licensed hair stylist will lead dads through practical techniques they can take home and put to use.
No experience needed—and dads of daughters with all hair textures are welcome.
What You’ll Learn
The workshop will follow a simple 4-step learning process:
1. Hair Care Fundamentals
Learn the basics of healthy hair care, detangling, and proper product usage.
2. Parting Techniques
Practice creating clean, even sections—the foundation for many everyday hairstyles.
3. Ponytail Techniques
Learn how to create neat ponytails while maintaining healthy hair practices.
4. Finishing Touches
Learn how to smooth edges and put the finishing touches on a polished, everyday hairstyle.
This is a hands-on experience, so come ready to learn, ask questions, practice, and probably laugh at ourselves a little along the way.
You don’t have to become a hairstylist. The goal is simply to leave with more confidence, a few practical skills, and another way to show up for your daughter.
